Cellars®
offers you goods for sale on the following terms and conditions:
All goods are offered subject to continuing availability and Chancellors Cellars®
reserves the right to amend advertised prices and offers without prior notice.
All
prices quoted are inclusive of GST.
Chancellors Cellars® requires payment in full to confirm any order and
reserves the right to withhold a delivery of goods until payment in full has
been received.
Title to goods remains with Chancellors Cellars® until payment in full is
received. In the event of payment by cheque, this is upon clearance of the
cheque.
Chancellors Cellars’® liability in the event of any loss in
transit or inability to supply products on the original confirmed order placed is limited to reimbursement of the amount you have already paid
if Chancellors Cellars® is unable to re-supply either due to vintage year being
rolled over or product availability.
In the event of
inability to supply, you will be contacted by a representative from Chancellors
Cellars® and given a choice of an alternative product/vintage year. If the
alternative product offered to you is not required by you, your payment will not
be processed and no product will be supplied.
All goods must be inspected upon delivery and any claim must be made within
one (1) day, if the goods are damaged or they do not arrive in good order, that is,
damaged, Chancellors Cellars® will either refund or organize for replacement
(including delivery charges) or product replacement of equal value once
Chancellors Cellars receives the damaged goods.
If goods need to be returned you will be required to
return these goods by Australia
Post.
Deliveries
are made to the address provided by you when ordering goods from Chancellors
Cellars®.
Chancellors
Cellars® will deliver the goods to the address you specify in your
order, subject to product/vintage availability. The person (s) at the delivery
address who receives the goods will be presumed to be the authorized person
to receive those goods and must be 18 years of age and over. Once you receive the goods you will be
responsible if they become damaged, lost or stolen.
Goods
will not be left unattended. If no one is home to receive
the delivery, the goods will be taken to the nearest Post Office and a card
to that effect will be put into your letter box.
All
data, prices, images of products are for illustration purposes which may
vary, or change without notice and is beyond the control of Chancellors Cellars
management and offers on this website is believed to be correct. Changes may occur from time
to time which may not necessarily be reflected on this website.
Chancellors Cellars™ therefore reserves the right to change the data,
images of products which are for
illustration purposes and may change due to manufacturing/suppliers changes
and updates outside Chancellors Cellars® control,
prices, and offers subject to change and availability without prior notice.
All
orders made to Chancellors Cellars® are subject to confirmation and
acceptance by Chancellors Cellars®.
Chancellors
Cellars® reserves the right to accept, refuse, or limit your order
for any reason including, but not limited to the unavailability of a
product, incorrect pricing, vintages or due to any other errors in relation to
product descriptions on this website. The order acknowledgement is not
a contract and does not constitute an acceptance of your order, but only a
record of your offer to purchase a particular item's at a particular price.
If you are uncertain of the vintage year or carton configuration/quantities, contact
us at info_cc@bigpond.net.au prior
to placing your order for confirmation of the query.
Please select your products
carefully, as Chancellors Cellars® does not accept returns given for goods
because of a change of mind, if you selected the incorrect vintage year,
misinterpret the confirmed order and/or carton configuration/product quantity, you no longer require them, or they are incompatible with
your sensory taste once the goods have been dispatched to the addressee.
A
minimum purchase applies per order. A carton of either 12/6/3/2/1 as detailed
in the product description and order confirmation via Chancellors Cellars® secure
shopping cart (e.g. 750ml x 12 bottles
equates to one carton of 12 bottles, 750ml x 6 equates to one carton of 6
bottles, etc) or except where otherwise
stated (e.g. Johnnie Walker 700ml x 1 equates to one single item).
CONDITIONS
OF ORDERING
To order alcoholic beverages you must be 18 years of age and over.
Cheque payment can be made to "Chancellors Cellars®" and must be posted
to Chancellors Cellars®,
PO Box 964, ELTHAM, Vic., 3095. Cheque payment orders may be placed via fax or
mail, Fax Number: +61 3 9431
4439, but will not be processed until
the payment has been received and funds cleared. Please ensure that the
following information is included in your order: Case Quantity, Name
of Product, Total Price including delivery charge (please view Delivery
Section), Your Name, Address, Phone Number (home & mobile), Delivery Address
and Information (you may obtain a copy of the order form by clicking the "Fax and Mail
Order" button
above).
PRODUCT
AVAILABILITY & CHANGE OF VINTAGES
Chancellors Cellars® will attempt to fulfill orders in the specified vintages and we will
make every effort to keep the vintage on products listed on this web site up to
date. Unfortunately, products, vintages and prices on particular products may change without
notification from our suppliers. Thereby resulting in the website
displaying the incorrect vintage or prices on such a product or products.
Chancellors
Cellars® cannot accept liability for any inconvenience or loss in the event
that an incorrect vintage or product which has been shipped.
In
the instance that Chancellors Cellars® is aware of the unavailability of
a particular products - champagne, sparkling wine, wine, beer, spirits, or vintage we will contact you by phone or email to notify you of the
changes and you will be given the opportunity to amend your order accordingly.

RETURNS
Choose products wisely as
Chancellors Cellars® does not refund money for products
which are incorrectly selected (please refer to Terms and Conditions above).
DELIVERY
Costs
of Road Delivery to your door are as detailed in the Delivery Section on this
web site.
Please
allow 14 - 21 days for delivery (for cheque payments – cheque must firstly be
cleared before your order is processed).
All freight charges will be added
to you order automatically via our shopping cart at the time of processing for
International and Australia Wide delivery prior to you accepting and processing
the order.
Any
deliveries requiring redelivery, or redirection from an address provided by
yourself to a new address provided by the recipient, will incur an
additional delivery charge.
To
ensure prompt on time deliveries you must provide a home telephone number for
delivery address, and instruction if no one is home.
DISCLAIMER
Chancellors Cellars® believes in drinking responsibly. Under
the Liquor Control Act 1998 for Victoria, it is illegal for persons
under the age of 18 to purchase alcohol from this site. It is an
offence to sell or supply alcohol to or to obtain for persons under the age of
18.
