Chardonnay Pinot ... is a clone of Pinot Noir also referred to as Malvoise or Pinot Beaurot in the Loire, and formerly in the Languedoc, regions of France. Overall the Pinot Noir being the premier grape "cepage" of the Burgundy region (France) , producing a red wine that is lighter in colour than the Bordeaux reds.
