Petit Manseng is a very interesting grape variety it has a distinct lemon and fruit salad flavour, has plenty of presence, which carries the touch of sweetness. At first sniff, this is just another light, fairly simple dry style white, but it reveals some interesting hidden subtleties. The bouquet starts up with yeasty sur-lie hints, evolving some honeysuckle, pear and stone - fruit aromas. It's delicate in the mouth with firm acidity and lick of sweetness, finishing clean, dry and well balanced. An excellent options game wine. Try it with prosciutto and melon.
