The age of the Australian Brandy is defined as:Matured, aged minimum of two old, aged minimum of five years, very old, aged minimum of ten years.

On the nose there are distinctive pot still characters with a hint of oiliness balanced by oak overtones. Smooth palate displaying a full round body though relatively light weight. Soft attractive oak finish with clean spirit. Pot stilled and aged in oak hogsheads for a minimum of two years Black Bottle consistently demonstrates good value. 37.1% alc./vol.
Mc Williams MAX Fine Matured Brandy Special Show Reserve, the fruit is harvested at above 14° baumé, crushed into open fermenters, and then partially fermented on skins for between seven and ten days to extract maximum colour and flavour. Fermentation is arrested at the desired sweetness by the gradual addition of a high quality neutral spirit, which is also made at the winery.
Mc Williams Show Reserve Brandy Delux Liqueur base wine was fermented in stainless steel for 7 - 10 days with no oak maturation. It was then immediately distilled in a pot still using traditional methods. Alcohol by Volume: 38 % .Made by three consecutive pot-still distillations with the final brandy "heart" aged in new Limousin oak hogsheads. This is a blend of 2 selected old show brandies from 1963 and 1973 vintages.
