Houghton Cabernet Icon C.W Ferguson Cabernet Malbec...The majority of fruit for this wine was sourced from the Justin Vineyard in the Frankland River area of the Great Southern growing region.The intense and brooding aromas display characters of mulberry, black cherry and cassis combined with tobacco leaf, cigar box and cinnamon oak notes. The concentrated palate shows vibrant red berry and raspberry fruits with flavours of dark chocolate and coffee. Fine tannins lend a rich velvety structure and provide the wine with great length and density. Cellar for up to 10 years.

Lake Breeze Arthurs Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Malbec is a  stylish wine that is a tribute to Arthur Follett, who planted the first vines on the family property in the 1880’s. Lake Breeze Arthurs Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Malbec is a blend of 90% Cabernet and 9% Malbec, this wine is truly handcrafted from the vineyard through to the finished product. The grapes were carefully selected and picked at optimum ripeness from the family vineyard on the famous Langhorne Creek ‘flood plain’. Maceration times on skins varied from 9 days through to 21 days, giving the wine both depth and silkiness, whilst also imparting some savoury elements. Lake Breeze Arthurs Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Malbec was aged in 100% French Oak and only the best barrels of the vintage were chosen for the final blend, which was unfined and unfiltered prior to bottling on the estate.The resultant wine shows classic blackcurrant aromas with violets, mint and savoury characters. Lake Breeze Arthurs Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Malbec is full and rich yet still very youthful, with a wonderful intensity and length of flavour.
