Red wines are rarely sweet. Red wine is made from the skins as well, whereas white wine can be made from black or white grapes, red wine can only be made from black grapes. The colouring pigment in the skin makes it red, and various other constituents of the skin alter its taste. Some clarets are extremely dry and some very rich, while others are very bitter.
This Classic Dry Red is characteristic of full plummy fruit flavours and spice qualities. Excellent value for money and is testimony to its quality and tenacity of its founders.

A gumleafy nose and is full bodied with a firm finish. It's solidly structured and gusty, with lively acidity accentuating the tannins. This is a good food wine and will age long term.
