| Allan Scott Riesling 2003 Marlborough Region New Zealand 750ml x 12 :
Allan Scott Riesling 2003 ....The ‘Moorland block’ which directly surrounds the winery has some of the oldest Riesling vines in Marlborough and because of this maturity this vineyard consistently produces quality fruit year after year.The viticulture is coming up to 25 years old and these vines are fairly ‘established’ now.
Pruned backed to four canes, leaf plucking and a little bud rubbing is about all these vines need now to produce an extraordinarily consistent and quality wine.The vinification follows Allan Scott wine making techinques of normal procedures ensure harvest occurrs in the coolness of the early morning.
After pressing and the normal settling/racking process the juice was then fermented.
During ferment the wine is tasted daily until a desired residual sugar level was found and then the wine is promptly stopped.Allan Scott Riesling 2003 ....is best described as a very powerful aromatic wine that displays an extensive range of citrus fruit characters like New Zealand Oranges and Manderins.
A balance of natural fruit sweetness, and crisp acidity enhance this wine on the palate in its youth and, if you can wait, will develop more complexity with age.Allan Scott Riesling 2003..
This great Riesling is a preferred accompaniment to a wide range of foods. Especially enjoyable with savory, spicy dishes, cheese or simply on its own. Best served lightly chilled and is guaranteed to improve with age if carefully cellared.

Framingham Classic Riesling 2001 is another superb Classic Riesling. Showing all the trademark characters of rich ripe fruit with juicy acidity making this a perfect wine for sipping through the afternoon.Intense citrus notes, especially limes.
Supporting aromas of honey and a crystallized ginger note, often associated with Framingham Rieslings. A medium bodied wine made in an off-dry style. The richness of ripe fruit sits well with the juiciness of cool climate acidity.
Extra richness has been achieved through a small botrytis component. Perfect slightly chilled and enjoyed on its own or paired with asian style dishes.

| Framingham Dry Riesling 2001 Marlborough Region New Zealand 750ml x 12 :
Framingham Dry Riesling is tightly structured when young, with pure varietal characters of citrus and mineral with time in the bottle, complexing notes of toast and honey should begin to appear while the palate softens and becomes more rounded.
Delicate aromatics. Minerals, wet stones and a suggestion of oatmeal biscuit. The young wine shows good generosity, yet has the potential to fatten up whilst retaining the impression of delicacy. Lime/citrus like acidity sits well with a refined phenolic structure.
The low alcohol and residual sugar levels enhance the impression of lightness yet good levels of extract prevent the wine from appearing steely.

| Fromm La Strada Riesling Spatlese Style 2003 Marlborough Region New Zealand 750ml x 12 :
This is essentially a 'Spätlese' by German standards, meaning 'late harvest'. In the New World late harvest is usually associated with the ripest, sweetest fruit.
In the traditional selection process of German Rieslings it is quite the opposite. The ripest berries are harvested in select pickings to produce the more concentrated sweet wines.
What is left on the vines becomes the late harvest, usually clean, less intense fruit with firm structure resulting in pure, fresh aperitif wines.
Fromm La Strada Riesling Spatlese stlye wine is a delightful, low alcohol summer wine,which has all the hallmarks of a classic Spätlese. Excellent balance with high residual sweetness and a firm acid/pH structure to finish light and refreshing.

| Giesen Estate Canterbury Riesling 2001 Regional New Zealand 750ml x 12 :
Giesen Estate Canterbury Riesling has an elegant varietal purity with ripe citrus, orange-blossom and hints of honey.
A fruit driven wine that has a palate that is balanced by focused, tangy acid leading to a lifted, fresh citrus finish.
The fruit was harvested with considerable purity of aroma and flavour.
The distinct difference in Brix levels led us to produce a style lower in alcohol with some residual sugar, rather than push the wine beyond its natural boundaries.
The clear juice was fermented at low temperatures (12 - 14° C) then left on yeast lees post fermentation to further develop both bouquet and palate.
Given time, the wine will develop further character in the bottle.
